Meir Kaplan

Meir is the founder of Prestige Healthcare Mgmt Drawing on over seven years of administrative experience in the healthcare field and a background in management, Mr. Kaplan has been an asset in operating teams within the nursing homes industry, specializing in the rehabilitation of facilities on the verge of bankruptcy and foreclosure.

His accomplishments are numerous and varied, including successful takeovers of local failing facilities in recent years; growing census; increasing revenues; stabilizing operations; and, most importantly, reestablishing good working relationships with local hospitals and the healthcare community. These revitalized buildings are now renowned and respected centers of care with a healthy referral base. His latest achievements include two facilities in the state of Nebraska that were in danger of failure. The Medicare census and CMI have dramatically improved in both facilities since the assumption of management in 2019.

Chasity Coover

Chasity Coover is a distinguished figure in the healthcare industry, renowned for her expertise and leadership as the Regional Director of Operations. With a career spanning over a decade, she began her journey in 2007 and quickly rose to prominence due to her exceptional qualifications and dedication to excellence. Holding a doctorate in gerontology and licensed in Healthcare Administration, Chasity brings a wealth of specialized knowledge to her role. Her focus on developing and operating skilled nursing facilities has not only showcased her proficiency but also her commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Chasity finds fulfillment in her role as a wife and mother. Married to her husband Matt for 16 years, she cherishes their partnership and the foundation they’ve built together. As a devoted mother, she prioritizes her two children, a 15-year-old son, and a 13-year-old daughter, balancing her career aspirations with her family commitments. Chasity’s unwavering dedication to both her personal and professional life underscores her status as a leader in her industry and an inspiration to those around her.

Jonathan Aschendorf

Jonathan is the leader of the finance department with numerous years of healthcare and finance experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Jonathan began his career as an auditor at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as a senior associate within the asset management group. Next, Jonathan went on to become a controller of a hedge fund with approximately one billion dollars of assets under management. Eventually, Jonathan moved into the healthcare space to have a positive impact on the world around him. Jonathan is a seasoned financial executive with a wealth of expertise in navigating the complex landscape of financial management.

As a Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan has demonstrated exceptional leadership in overseeing the financial operations of corporations, leveraging his strong analytical skills to provide strategic insights and guide key decision-making processes. With a keen eye for detail, Jonathan excels in implementing robust financial systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency. His ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments and effectively communicate complex financial information has consistently positioned him as a trusted member of the executive team, enabling him to effectively navigate organizations toward sustainable financial success.

Michael Fine

With an impressive 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, Michael Fine currently serves as the Director of Accounts Payable at Prestige Healthcare Management. Throughout his career, he has honed his expertise in financial processes, cost control, and vendor management. In his current role, Michael oversees the efficient management of the accounts payable function within the healthcare sector, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions.

Michael earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU), providing him with a comprehensive foundation in business strategy, organizational behavior, and financial management. His academic background, coupled with 8 years of hands-on experience, positions him as a seasoned professional in the finance domain within the healthcare industry.

Shimi Charlap

Shimi Charlap serves as the Director of Payroll at Prestige Healthcare Management, providing strategic leadership and comprehensive oversight of the organization’s complex payroll operations. With over eight years of dedicated experience in payroll management, Shimi has developed a reputation for precision, navigating the intricate regulatory landscapes and financial requirements unique to the healthcare industry.

Shimi earned his MBA from Bellevue University, a degree that serves as the foundation for his analytical approach to financial management and organizational leadership. This advanced academic background allows him to integrate high-level financial theory with practical operational excellence, ensuring that payroll systems are not only compliant but also optimized for efficiency and scale.

Throughout his career, Shimi has remained committed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. He is recognized for his ability to manage large-scale financial workflows while prioritizing the needs of the workforce. By balancing technical expertise in payroll compliance and multi-state tax administration with a focus on organizational stability, Shimi ensures that Prestige Healthcare Management’s financial operations are executed with professional excellence and care.

Zalman Sommer

As the COO of Ayden Healthcare in Ohio, I have nurtured a healthcare career that began in New Jersey in 2013. My journey through various roles in the healthcare sector, including time with prominent healthcare groups, led me to Ayden in 2022. Committed to exceptional resident care, I treat each individual as family, fostering a high-performing team culture. My role extends to ensuring regulatory compliance and establishing strong partnerships with local healthcare facilities, enhancing our continuum of care.

Collaborating with insurance companies is also a key part of my strategy to provide comprehensive services. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace, aiming to position Ayden as a frontrunner in the healthcare industry, prioritizing the well-being of both our residents and employees.

Daniel Moskowitz

Daniel Moskowitz serves as the Financial Controller at Prestige Healthcare Management, where he oversees the organization’s comprehensive financial operations, fiscal reporting, and long-term budgetary strategies.

With over a decade of experience in the accounting and financial management sectors, Daniel brings a wealth of expertise in maintaining fiscal integrity and optimizing operational efficiencies. His career is defined by a commitment to precision, transparent reporting, and navigating the complexities of healthcare finance to ensure the company remains on a path of sustainable growth.

Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Queens College. Since joining the leadership team at Prestige, he has played a pivotal role in streamlining financial processes and supporting the executive team with data-driven insights.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Daniel is dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure Prestige Healthcare Management continues to lead with excellence.

Kenn Daily, LNHA

Kenn Daily, LNHA is a nationally recognized expert in long-term care operations, life-safety compliance, and disaster preparedness, with more than three decades of leadership across senior-care settings. He is the President of Elder Care Systems Group, a consulting firm that supports skilled-nursing, assisted-living, and post-acute providers across the country through operational assessments, regulatory compliance guidance, mock surveys, emergency-preparedness planning, and professional training.

A licensed nursing-home administrator with hands-on facility and multilevel campus leadership experience, Kenn’s career has been defined by his commitment to resident safety, regulatory integrity, and systems-based quality improvement. His operational background, combined with deep regulatory knowledge, has made him a trusted advisor to long-term care organizations seeking to strengthen performance, reduce citations, and improve care outcomes.

Within the Ohio Health Care Association (OHCA), Daily plays a key leadership role. He serves on the OHCA Board of Trustees and has chaired the Life Safety & Disaster Management Committee for more than a two decades. In this capacity, he has helped develop state-level safety standards, emergency-preparedness frameworks, and best-practice education for administrators, clinical leaders, and facility teams. He is widely regarded as one of OHCA’s most experienced educators.
Kenn is also active at the national level. He contributes to several committees of the American Health Care Association (AHCA) focused on life safety and emergency preparedness, and he serves on the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Healthcare Section Executive Committee, helping shape national standards that directly impact long-term care providers.

A frequent speaker at conferences across the United States, he delivers training on regulatory trends, CMS enforcement priorities, disaster-response planning, and strategies to integrate safety initiatives into daily operations. His practical, solutions-based teaching style has made him a valued resource for administrators, surveyors, policymakers, and clinical leaders.

Taylor Abbott

Taylor Abbott has been dedicated to the healthcare field since 2005, building a career rooted in compassion and a deep commitment to serving the geriatric population. Throughout her journey, she has gained experience across multiple areas of long-term care, giving her a well-rounded understanding of operations, clinical collaboration, and resident-centered services. While her background is diverse, Taylor discovered a true passion for census development, focusing on strategic growth, building strong referral relationships, and helping communities thrive.

Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is actively involved in various healthcare networking groups, where she continues to foster partnerships and stay connected to industry trends. She is known for her ability to drive occupancy growth while maintaining a strong focus on quality care, team engagement, and positive outcomes for residents and families. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and creating environments where both residents and staff can succeed.

Outside of her professional life, Taylor values time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Brent, for 14 years, and together they have three beautiful children who keep life busy and full of joy.
